If you’re a coffee enthusiast, then you’ll agree that the aroma of freshly ground coffee electrifies the senses. And if you’re luckily enough to have a local roaster then you’ll recall that the aromatics from freshly roasted beans can be mesmerising. With wafts of caramel to cocoa, from the enzymatic fruity properties to toasted nuts, the complexities of freshly roasted beans is simply hypnotising.
What is a Coffea Rocks?
It’s unambiguously our Coffea Liqueur on ice. Which in some ways is the best way to enjoy it, unadulterated, pure and simplistic. Allowing the full flavoured punch of pure speciality espresso lift your spirit as the gentle lapping waves of vanilla and caramel syrupy sweetness end in a brief slice of coffee, date and walnut cake. It’s a perfect way to relax when sipping on your own or better still indulging guests as an after dinner digestif.
- 75ml Coffea Coffee Liqueur or Coffea Decaf Liqueur
- 2 to 3 ice cubes
- Jigger - Bartending tool/dual ended cup for measuring spirits that is normally dual ended (50ml/25ml).
- Serving glass - Old fashioned glass. Other names are rocks glass/lowball glass. Essentially they are a short tumbler used for spirits, neat or with ice.
Add the ice into an old fashioned glass and gently pour over the Coffea Liqueur.
